Russian occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol in 2014  violated all norms of the international law and human rights.

By adoption of the UNGA Resolution 68/262 «Territorial Integrity of Ukraine» (March 27, 2014) the international community reaffirms unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Due to the consolidated efforts of foreign partners and significant external pressure, Ukraine continues to struggle for de-occupation of the Crimean peninsula, the restoration of sovereignty in its internationally recognized borders.

The film Haytarma (with English subtitles), a story about a tragic date in the history of the Crimean Tatar nation – Stalin's deportation of the Crimean Tatars, will be presented to the audience during the event.
