The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland and the Association of Ukrainians in Finland held the event on the occasion of the jubilee of composer Mikhailo Verbitsky, the author the National Anthem, and the Shevchenko Days.

Guests had the possibility to become more familiar of the history of creation the National Anthem of Ukraine as well as to take part in the contest for the best performance of Shevchenko poetry. The winners received memorable prizes from the Embassy and the Association.
