On January 30, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Andrii Olefirov and counsellor Illya Kvas met members of  Eduskunta (parliament), members of the Group of friendship with Ukraine in the Finnish Parliament.

The wide range of current international issues have been discussed at the meeting, first of all with regard to the measures taken by Ukraine on countering Russian aggression and settlement of situation in the east of Ukraine.

It was agreed to intensify bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation, in particular after formation of the Group of friendship with Finland in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
