In view of the recent escalation of violence due to the terrorist activities of illegal armed groups in the east of Ukraine, January 15, 2015, has been declared by the Decree of the President of Ukraine the Day of Mourning for all those who perished due to the terrorist activities in Ukraine, and in particular, civilians murdered at a checkpoint near Volnovakha on January 13.

A book of condolences will be open at the Embassy of Ukraine on Thursday, January 15 from 11.00 to 17.00 hours and tomorrow, January 16 from 10.00 to 14.00 hours.
