During the meeting they discussed the situation in Ukraine, primarily in the context of the on-going Russian aggression against our country.

Ukrainian side welcomed the consistent Iceland’s support, both bilaterally and within international organizations, of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and inviolability of Ukrainian borders.

The sides also discussed the issues of bilateral relations. Sides stressed high dynamics of the bilateral contacts and prospects for cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, in particular using of geothermal energy in Ukraine.
