Today, Ukrainian Chargè d’Affaires Mr Serhiy Vasylenko has commemorated, on the Embassy’s and his behalf, the 68th Victory in Europe Day (VE Day) that marks the end of the Second World War (WWII) in Europe. He layed flowers at the foot of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which is located in the Hietaniemi cemetery in Helsinki.
