On the 28th of February 2013, a seminar devoted to the priorities of the Ukrainian Chairmanship in the OSCE and the challenges facing the organization was held at the Parliament of Finland. The seminar was organized by the Finnish Committee for European Security STETE.
Speakers of the seminar were Chargé d'Affairs of Ukraine O.Selin, Member of the Parliament of Finland S.Palm, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Finland to the OSCE T. Kantola, Researcher of the Aleksanteri Institute, Helsinki University H.Smith and expert of the National Institute for Strategic Studies of Ukraine H.Shelest.
The discussion was focused on the ways to strengthening of the organization, particularly in light of the 'Helsinki + 40 ", the expectations from the Ukrainian Chairmanship and feasibility of its priorities, approaches to ensuring trust and confidence among participating states, etc.
