July 15, 2014 – the meeting between the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Icelandic Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson within the framework of meeting with the delegation of Ministers of foreign affairs of Iceland, Latvia and Poland.

June 4, 2009 – the meeting of the Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine V. Khandogii and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland O. Skarfedinsson within the framework of the 15th session of the Council of Baltic Sea States.

June 24 – 25, 2010 – working visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine K. Gryshchenko to Iceland to participate in the 50th anniversary meeting of Ministers of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), during his visit the Ukrainian Minister signed the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the EFTA States and the Agreement on Agriculture between Ukraine and Iceland.

September 25, 2013 – the meeting at the level of ministers for foreign affairs in New-York within the framework of the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly.
